Dipping My Toes in the Anticipated Education of Digital Media

"Voice for the Voiceless" This project was really fun to create. I was never familiar with what an autoscopy was before this class and I actually really love the idea of it. When I was thinking about something that really effects me and is meaningful, I thought about animals and all of the reasons why I am vegan. I tried to present a message that I was leading a herd of different kinds of animals and standing up to the pollution, deforestation, inhumane treatment, and habitat loss that they face.  I never knew photoshopping a cows pattern onto my skin would look cool! Photoshopping My Face This assignment was super easy and also really fun. I figured I would go a little crazy and try to make myself look like a mermaid. By just adding colors on different layers and changing the transparency, it is so easy to alter my skin and hair color, all while making it look somewhat realistic. Photoshop is dope. 

Somewhere in the Mountains I enjoyed doing this assignment and learning more about photoshop. It is so cool to use all the tools it provides and make any picture look pretty realistic. I had to redo the background and choose a different one to make the scaling look more realistic. I really like the way it turned out in the end, though!

Mesh Candle This project was particularly challenging for me because of the reflection in the candle. It was really difficult to match up all of the different colors reflected but I definitely enjoyed the time doing it. However, I loved the way it turned out. I wasn't expecting it to turn out as accurate as it did. I also realized half way through the project that this was definitely a challenge compared to some of the other things I could have used. The glare and the different colors in the reflection in the candle made it so hard to match up. But, overall, I think I really did a good job and actually enjoyed doing this!

LOGOS Let me just start out by saying I had little inspiration to create these. I really struggled with finding the right words to describe me that I could come up with ideas to create logos out of. I guess I struggled with managing my time correctly during this project and a lot of the work isn't as great as it could have been.  "Vegan Logo" Definitely my favorite Logo I created out of all of them. I am vegan, so I thought I would do something that represents eating plant based foods so I decided to make it cute and simple so it is easy to get the message across.  "Musical Logo" Haha, this one is actually quite ridiculous but I tried to incorporate my love and appreciation for music, whether it's listening to it or creating it. I tried to include my initials in the design with the pink O and S, which make up the headphones and the nose of the face.  "Free Spirited" I would say I am very boho and what some may cal...
